    What to Expect During Treatment

    Most dental implant treatments involve several stages over 3-6 months to ensure a strong and lasting result.

    1 Consultation & Planning – We take X-rays and/or 3D images to assess bone quality and discuss your treatment plan.
    2 Implant Placement – The implant is gently placed into the jawbone under local anaesthetic. Healing takes 2-4 months.
    3 Healing Cap Placement – After healing, a small post (abutment) is attached to promote soft tissue healing.
    4 Final Restoration – A custom crown, bridge, or denture is securely placed for a fully functional smile.

    In some cases, an implant can be placed immediately after a tooth extraction, reducing the need for multiple procedures.

  • Your body’s healing ability determines how long the implant takes to fully integrate—usually around three months before the final tooth is placed.
