These Terms of Service outline the terms under which JME Dental provides dental and aesthetic treatments at our Galway clinics in Devon Park and Liosban. By using our website or booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

2. Use of This Website

This website is provided for general information only and should not be used as a substitute for professional dental advice. While we strive to keep content accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees regarding its completeness or accuracy.

3. Appointment Bookings & Cancellations

Appointments can be booked online using our secure Dentally system, or by phone or email. Please ensure your contact details and medical information are accurate when booking.

Notice re: Missed Appointments / Late Cancellation

At JME Dental, we really value your time — and we hope you feel the same about ours. Our goal is to provide high-quality dental care in a timely and well-organised manner. Of course, we understand that unexpected things can happen and plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the appointment to someone else who may be waiting.

Please note: In cases of missed appointments or cancellations made with insufficient notice, a €50 cancellation fee per 15-minute slot will apply. This fee helps cover the cost of our time and resources and ensures we can continue offering high-quality care to all our patients.

We sincerely hope you appreciate why we are taking these steps and that our telephone, text, and email confirmation services can help prevent this becoming an issue for you. If you have any questions, please speak to a member of our team.

4. Eligibility & Patient Responsibility

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you are either over 18 years of age or are booking on behalf of a minor with parental or guardian consent.

You agree to:

  • Provide full and accurate health and medical history

  • Notify us of any changes to your health or medications

  • Follow your treatment plan and aftercare instructions

  • Respect your appointment time and our cancellation policy

5. Treatment & Services

All treatments are subject to an initial consultation and may require radiographs or scans. These may incur additional charges unless otherwise stated.

We will always:

  • Explain your treatment options, costs, and risks

  • Give you the opportunity to ask questions

  • Provide a written treatment plan where applicable

You may withdraw consent or decline treatment at any time.

6. Payments & Gift Vouchers

Payment is due on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept most major debit and credit cards.

We also assist with:

  • PRSI dental benefits

  • Insurance claim forms (VHI, Laya, Irish Life, DeCare, etc.)

  • Tax relief documentation (e.g. Med 2 forms)

Gift vouchers are:

  • Available in custom amounts

  • Valid for 12 months from purchase

  • Non-refundable and not redeemable for cash

  • Redeemable only at the clinic specified at time of purchase

7. Privacy & Data Protection

All patient data is managed in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Acts 1988–2018. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

Our website may include links to external platforms (such as Dentally or insurance provider sites). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of these external websites.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we are committed to providing safe and effective care, JME Dental is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or services, except where required under Irish law.
